2012 is Shaping Up to be Our Best!

2012 is Shaping Up to be Our Best Year Yet! 

We hit 6 more highpoints in the first half of the year.  ”Peak Bagging” the summits of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 this year – bringing our total funds raised to over $200,000. 

We will be making $20,000 in grants to four more diabetes programs in under-served rural communities in Colorado, Arkansas, Delaware and New Mexico; this will bring the total number of programs we have supported to twenty-one! 

All of our grants are used to provide outreach and education efforts in support of the the local communities. 

Remaining fund raising climbs for 2012 are:

  • Mt. Elbert, Colorado – July
  • Mt. Rainier, Washington – August
  • Mt. Borah, Idaho – August
  • Mt. Shasta or Mt. Whitney, California – September
